Our clients use a secure, personal Intranet Web site that we use for communication and document storage. The site includes libraries for portfolio reports, financial plans and other important documents.
Our clients also have access to a Web site where all of their accounts are shown, with balances and transactions updated daily. The site is integrated with our financial planning software, which enables clients to access an up-to-date net worth statement and compare it to the plan at any time and from any computer. This system allows us to help clients make timely, informed decisions.
We also can provide clients with a “virtual desktop” on our terminal server. Using this desktop, clients can run programs and save information as if it were their own computer – only better. The data – protected by username and password – can be reached from any computer and is backed up daily on our secure server. Clients don’t have to worry about backing up or securing sensitive data on their own PCs.
On the virtual desktop, clients also can run shared versions of personal or business finance software – such as Quicken, QuickBooks and Microsoft Money – to efficiently work with their team of advisors. At your request, we can provide your family members or other advisors with access information.
Clients can scan and save documents in our paperless filing system. They also can use collaborative tools such as shared e-mail, calendars, task lists and discussion boards to effectively communicate with their team.
